Rebooking The 2002 WWE Brand Extension Draft

14. Smackdown Pick 4: The Undertaker

Ric Flair Vince McMahon 2002 Draft
WWE.com

Actual Pick: Hulk Hogan

Shocked by Flair's pick of yet another 90s WWF legend, Vince ups the ante by taking the Phenom of the WWE, one of the greatest superstars of all time, The Undertaker, with his fourth pick. Fresh off a heel turn and an attitude change (along with a short haircut), Undertaker had just come off beating Ric Flair at WrestleMania to increase his undefeated streak to 10-0.

Undertaker would go on to be a Smackdown staple, winning multiple World Championships and continuing his amazing WrestleMania undefeated streak for 11 more years. He is well on his way to being a first ballot Hall of Famer when he chooses to retire. He would return as The Deadman in 2004, and would develop mixed martial arts elements into his wrestling style, completely reinventing himself.
