After the drama of Test/Dreamer, there's going to need to be a 'cool down' match before the main event. There are many wrestlers who could fit in this slot, such as Daivari, Stevie Richards and Rene Dupree, but the nod goes to Elijah Burke and Balls Mahoney, here. Why? Well, Mahoney was surprisingly used a lot on the ECW TV show and even took CM Punk's place in the Mike Knox/Kelly Kelly storyline (as well as being host of the cringeworthy extreme strip poker). Elijah Burke was someone WWE had high hopes for, despite apparently being awful to work with (Punk has named him as his least favourite opponent). Burke goes over in about six minutes. Short and inoffensive, and a way to let the crowd catch their breath before the main event.
