Rebooking WWE December To Dismember: 7 Ways To Make It Better

1. Rob Van Dam Vs. The Big Show Vs. Sabu - ECW World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Rules Elimination Match

And so we come to our main event. The original top-liner was the Extreme Elimination Chamber match, featuring CM Punk, Rob Van Dam, Hardcore Holly, Bobby Lashley and Test. It was, at that point, the worst Chamber match ever. The action was standard and the booking really p***ed off the ECW faithful. The WWE regulars, Show, Lashley, Test and Holly, were booked as the stars, whilst ECW original RVD and the red-hot CM Punk were treated as an afterthought. Despite being an 'extreme' (weapons) Chamber match, the plunder hardly came into play at all. Bobby Lashley's win left a sour taste in the mouth, and many of those in the crowds physically turned their back on him. The December to Dismember main event needs to change. The proposed changed is an RVD/Show/Sabu extreme rules triple threat elimination match for Show's ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Sabu should have been on the show in the first place, but was removed because management weren't a fan of him in the ring (or in the back). This would be a long, almost twenty minute main event that would play off the summer RVD/Show and Sabu/Show series'. Sabu would be the first man eliminated, casting doubt over whether Big Show would walk out and retain the championship. One Van Terminator later, however, and Mr. PPV would have regained the belt he was forced to vacate after only a few short weeks back in July. It would be vindication for Van Dam (who was really behind the ECW relaunch), allows Show to leave for a much-needed vacation and sets up Test/RVD at the Rumble (and perhaps a future series with Sabu, too). Mission: accomplished. So how does this rebooked December to Dismember card sound? What would you do differently? Let us know in the comments below.
