3. Kane Vs. X-Pac (w/Road Dogg & Tori)
Originally, X-Pac teamed up with Road Dogg to face the unlikely team of Kane and Rikishi. 'Kish was essentially shoe-horned into the match in order to give Kane a partner. It didn't quite work and ended up being a one time deal. The match itself wasn't anything to write home about, with most of the attention being put on The Big Red Machine's yearly destruction of Pete Rose. I'd scrap the tag match and go for a traditional singles match, pitting Kane and X-Pac against one another. Yes, there'd clashed a few times already on PPV in late 99/early 2000, but this would be the proper blowoff match on the biggest stage. The addition of Pac's partner Road Dogg and girlfriend Tori at ringside would give the match another dynamic. After a twelve to fifteen-minute match, Kane comes out the victor after resisting the interference of the DX hangers-on. Tombstones all around for X-Pac, Road Dogg and, yes, Tori.
