5. The Hurricane
If WCW had won the Monday Night Wars, then Shane Helms would still be on this list as a member of wrestling's greatest boyband, 3 Count. Unfortunately for the millions of 3 Count fans out there, WWE won the war and we have to settle for The Hurricane instead.
That's unfair; The Hurricane - Helms' deranged superhero persona - is one of the all-time great WWE comedy characters. His delusions of granduer made him a delight to watch during his tenure with the company, whether he was on his own or with sidekicks "Mighty" Molly Holly or the late "Super Hero In Training" Rosey.
Fans have been treated to several Hurricane comebacks in recent years as Helms has appeared at AEW Full Gear 2020 and in both the 2018 and 2021 Royal Rumbles. He also signed a Legends deal with WWE in 2022, leaving the door wide open for a return of epic proportions.
The Hurricane is one of the most successful and long-living gimmicks of the modern era and absolutely deserves a spot in this match. Also, if he could recreate his "double chokeslam" spot from the Rumble '02, that would be the icing on the cake.
