Rebooking WWE WrestleMania X-Seven's Gimmick Battle Royal For Modern Times

2. King Booker

The Boogeyman

For all its silliness, the original Gimmick Battle Royal actually featured two former WWE Champions, Sgt. Slaughter and eventual winner The Iron Sheik. So there's absolutely no reason why the former King of SmackDown couldn't make an appearance in this updated version.

After winning King of the Ring in 2006, Booker T embraced his new found title and embraced it hard. He would wear a crown and cape, carry a sceptre, and speak in an English accent so bad that it made Dick Van Dyke sound like Prince Charles. Despite him having a worse accent than Santino, "King Booker" as he would be known got massively over and even won the World Heavyweight Championship later that year - Booker's only world title win in WWE.

King Booker would be a great shout to play the Iron Sheik role in this match. He's way more acclaimed in the ring than most of the other men in this match, so could convincingly survive until the end of the match and could even win the whole thing.

Or - and this is much more tantilising - have Booker think he's won the match and celebrate in royal style, before he's confronted by an old foe...
