Hangman Page almost appeared in the recent Pabst Blue Ribbon commercial featuring Matt Cardona, Chelsea Green, and other wresters, but an All Elite Wrestling representative put a stop to it.

Per Fightful Select, Page was paid for the advert and flew to St. Louis, Missouri for filming, with PBR looking to capitalise on the publicity of Nick Gage using a pizza cutter on Chris Jericho on Dynamite a fortnight ago, resulting in Domino's Pizza issuing a statement saying the brand was "assessing our advertising presence going forward."

An AEW rep stepped in for the St. Louis shoot, preventing Page from appearing as extra clearances and agreements needed to be obtained.

The commercial, which required multiple edits to remove certain wrestling spots at the WarnerMedia advertising department's request, was released on 5 August. Here it is:-

Page is currently off AEW television ahead of the birth of his first child. There's currently no word on when he'll return, though this break was always planned despite the long-held assumption that he would challenge AEW World Champion Kenny Omega at All Out 2021 (5 September).

Last week's episode of Dynamite saw the Super Elite beat Hangman down to facilitate his time off.
