Report: Kenny Omega To Headline Future Impact Wrestling PPVs

Impact Wrestling look set to capitalise on the success of Tuesday night.

Per a report from the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Kenny Omega isn't done with Impact Wrestling quite yet.

This comes off the back of an appearance made by the current AEW World Champion on this past Tuesday's show, where 'The Cleaner' and Impact EVP Don Callis seemed to indicate they would be appearing for both promotions for the foreseeable future. Not only that, but Meltzer also states Omega will headline at least one Impact pay-per-view.

Of course, the segment involving Omega and Callis at the conclusion of this week's Impact resulted in a mammoth 60% ratings increase for the episode, while also making Impact Wrestling the number one trend on Twitter. This is something the company has been in desperate need of, as, despite being in a fairly decent position all things considered, they needed those extra eyes on the show to show their product off.

Although nothing has been mentioned regarding any future Impact Wrestling bookings for Kenny Omega, he did tease a match with the Impact World Champion, Rich Swann. If Omega is indeed appearing for Impact again, expect to see some sort of announcement made during their final Impact Plus special of 2020, Final Resolution, which Swann is main eventing against Chris Bey.
