A ruff news day for CM Punk's dog Larry, who may or may not have been hurt at All Out.

Rumours of Larry the Dog's injuries may have been greatly exaggerated.

Wrestling Inc.'s Nick Hausman reported this week that CM Punk's pet pooch was accidentally struck by a swinging door at AEW All Out 2022, as Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks "kicked" their way in to approach Punk following his incendiary press scrum comments. Punk, who hadn't considered the scrum a big deal until The Elite accosted him, felt threatened, while Larry needed to have two teeth removed after a vet found they'd been knocked loose.

Dave Meltzer's sources have now claimed that this is "an outright lie." Reporting on today's Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer added that he has heard from Punk's side regularly since the All Out fight on 4 September, with this being the first time anything involving the dog being hurt had ever been brought up to him.

Ace Steel's wife, Lucy Guy, was in Punk's locker room as the fight broke out, seemingly there to look after Larry. She is not believed to have been interviewed as part of the investigation into the brawl.

Punk remains suspended for his role in the fight, having allegedly thrown at least one punch at Nick Jackson. Steel, who bit Omega and pulled his hair during the melee, has been released by AEW.
