Ric Flair Reveals How He REALLY Felt About His Last Match

Here's what 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair thinks about his post-WWE retirement erm...retirement.

Ric Flair has revealed that he's "very happy" with what could be his final pro wrestling match.

The 'Nature Boy' teamed with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to beat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett on 31 July (as part of the bumper Starrcast V weekend), and he viewed it as a brilliant accompaniment to his WWE retirement back in 2008.

Back then, Ric lost what was supposed to be his last match to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV. It didn't take long for the legend to renege on that billing by accepting bookings on Hulk Hogan's 'Hulkamania' tour and then again in TNA.

However, Ric claims the recent tag will be his last as an active pro wrestler.

Flair told Lucha Libre Online that he's particularly happy that El Idolo got to be part of things, because he's been moved by the impact Andrade has had on his daughter Charlotte's life. So, teaming with the AEW star against Lethal and Jarrett was a thrill for the 73 year old.

Fans online have joked that it's only a matter of time before Ric catches the wrestling bug again and wants one more bout.
