8 .Team WWE - The Rock, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Kane And The Big Show vs. Team Alliance - Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Shane McMahon (Survivor Series 2001)
WWE.comI could spend several articles discussing the much-maligned invasion angle that WWE ran in 2001 after the purchase of WCW and ECW, but that subject has been effectively driven into the ground byeveryone ever. Besides, for everything the company did wrong during this time, it did give us a few awesome matches, mainly this one. The problem with the Invasion can be encapsulated by the fact that the battle between WWE and the invading company featured only two wrestlers from outside the organization. But the excitement in this one was non-stop, and the traditional Survivor Series elimination format served it well. The action was fast and furious between some of the biggest names in the sport, and for those fans of WCW and ECW it was cool to see RVD and Booker T get to prove they could hang with the big dogs. The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment eliminated both Booker T and Kurt Angle during the match , and when the dust had cleared it all came down to The Rock and Steve Austin. A swerve from Kurt Angle to switch allegiances back to WWE gave Vinces troops the win and the future of the WWE brand was safe and sound.
