Roman Reigns Calls WWE's Performance Center Shows "Trash"

SmackDown's top man Roman Reigns thought WWE's Performance Center shows were crap.

Roman Reigns has told FOX Sports that WWE's programming at the Performance Center last year was "trash".

The company retreated into their own in-house facility at the start of the global health pandemic in March 2020, and they stayed there until moving to the 'ThunderDome' at Orlando's Amway Centre in August. From there, WWE shifted operations to Tropicana Field later in the year.

Reigns was thankful for that, because he didn't think much of the PC set up. The reigning Universal Champ and undoubted SmackDown head boy said he was left shaking his head whenever he tuned in to see what was going on.

Roman acknowledged that WWE's roster were "busting their ass working really hard", but he didn't like what he watched. The 'Tribal Chief' was particularly concerned that nobody was trying to base their character or connection to the audience "off emotion" - he knew he wanted to do that when he returned at SummerSlam.

It's pretty striking to hear one of WWE's top stars tear the product down like this. Reigns is a locker room leader though, and pretty much untouchable. What do you make of his comments?
