Roman Reigns To Be Put On Trial On WWE SmackDown

Tribal Chief to face a tribal court later this week.

The bad news continues for Roman Reigns.

Just days after being pinned for the first time in 3-1/2 years, Roman will be put on trial on SmackDown Friday night via a Tribal Court by his cousins, the Usos.

The Tribal Chief has ruled his family with an iron fist and a healthy dose of gaslighting, bringing multiple wrestlers under his spell of delusions. Sami Zayn broke free and was kicked out at Royal Rumble, but now, both Jimmy & Jey Uso have been excommunicated.

The feud erupted via a Bloodline Civil War that saw the Usos defeat Reigns and Solo Sikoa when Jey pinned Roman for the first time since December 2019. During that time, Reigns has very rarely lost, and he's never taken the pinfall in a tag match. Saturday was different.

While there's no indication, a tribal court could mean bringing in Rikishi and other family members to weigh in, or just have the Usos present the case. Whether this spells the end of the Bloodline for good or just launches another chapter, the drama has been off the charts the past few weeks, with the group facing tumult at every turn.

This tribal court concept harkens back to January, when the Bloodline put Sami Zayn on trial, just days before he turned on the group to save his friend, Kevin Owens. Maybe Paul Heyman will present evidence again as part of his involvement.
