Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair missed their second consecutive WWE house show yesterday.

The warring SmackDown duo were supposed to be on the card in Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday (15 August), but WWE announced to the audience that they wouldn't be present due to "unforeseen circumstances." This is identical to the situation in Charlotte, North Carolina the previous day, when Banks and Belair were also pulled from the lineup.

There is currently no word on why Banks and Belair missed these shows or when they are scheduled to return to action. The duo are currently scheduled to contest Bianca's SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2021 (21 August), having made the match official in a contract signing segment on last week's SD.

Belair has been SmackDown Women's Champion since toppling Sasha for the belt in an acclaimed night one main event at WrestleMania 37 (10 April). She has since mounted successful defences against Bayley and Carmella.

Banks and Belair weren't the only notable names to miss Saturday's event in Charlotte, with Charlotte Flair also skipping the show after seemingly asking WWE for the night off.
