Sasha Banks and Charlotte were already set to make history at October 31st's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, but Mick Foley has now announced that the duo will break new ground in more ways than one.

Not only will Sasha and Charlotte become the first women to ever compete inside HIAC, but Foley has today stated through Facebook that their Raw Women's Championship match will be the show's main event.

It's the first time in WWE history that a women's match has main evented a PPV, and cements the ongoing Women's Revolution as one of WWE's greatest modern successes.

Foley's Facebook post reads as follows:-

"Forget for a moment about Stephanie McMahon's jumping high-five or my awkward attempt to hug the #RAW Comissioner. The biggest moment of the night for us came when the #WWE cameras were off, and Stephanie and I just looked at the #HIAC poster, realizing that for #WomensWrestling, history is upon us - as Sasha Banks and Charlotte will main event the #HIAC PPV. I am so happy for Sasha, for Charlotte, for all the women who paved the way, and all those who aspire to follow in their footsteps. It is no exaggeration to say that looking at that poster gave me chills...and they were multiplying."

Kevin Owens is set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at the event, but they, along with everyone else, will play second fiddle to Banks and Charlotte, whose popularity more than justifies the decision.
