Sasha Banks Wants To Work WrestleMania 36 Pre-Show To "Get It Done And Over With"
I’ll probably still be making the same amount of money – that’s what it’s all about".
Oh, Sasha.
While The Boss is undoubtedly one of the very best talents under the WWE umbrella, it forever seems as if Sasha Banks is always one step away from taking a prolonged break from squared circle action. And now, speaking on Corey Graves’ After the Bell podcast, Sasha has talked about how she’d rather work the WrestleMania 36 pre-show than appear on the Showcase of the Immortals’ main card.
In an interview that’s hopefully in-character, Banks explained how her WrestleMania goals this year are “to wear the most bomb outfit right next to my best friend’s side as she defends her title against some loser.”
The multiple-time Women’s Champion then interestingly added, “You know, WrestleMania is so long. If anything, I would hope that we were on the pre-show just so I can get it done and over with. I’ll probably still be making the same amount of money – that’s what it’s all about. I want to be to make the most money, I want to be on the pre-show so I can get out of there. It’s a long, long day.”
To be honest, Sasha does have a point about the ludicrously long length of WrestleMania these days. And while she’s indeed playing up her gimmick, there are so many fans out there who would love to see Sasha Banks involved in ‘Mania in a major way.
Right now, it looks like Sasha Banks’ WrestleMania experience will be made up of one of two things – either in the corner of Bayley as the former Hugger defends her SmackDown Women’s Championship, or going up against Bayley to challenge for the gold.
At present, however, The Boss is recovering from an ankle injury suffered during her rivalry with Lacey Evans.
