Seth Rollins Reveals Why A Shield Reunion In WWE Wouldn't Work

The Shield coming back to WWE screens?! It wouldn't work, according to Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins doesn't think a reunion with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley would work in 2022 or beyond.

Why? Well, the flamboyant WWE star told Digital Spy that "it wouldn't look the way you want it to look". In other words, all three men have gone on to bigger successes since The Shield split in 2019; Moxley found a new hunting ground in AEW, Roman has become a smash hit heel, and Seth himself totally changed up his presentation to become a sharp-suited erm...annoying git.

Rollins also said that the group would only come together again if they were all inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame someday. That'll disappoint anyone who hopes to see the threesome tear it up on TV in the future.

Explaining, Seth added: "I think we’re all just too big stars with too big personalities at this point. We needed each other back then and now none of us need the other one".

Obviously, the thought of Moxley trading All Elite status for a return to WWE is far-fetched anyway. If hell froze over and that happened, Rollins still wouldn't be too keen on a Shield redo.
