4. Shane Has Some Awesome Matches To His Credit

One of the most memorable moments - and matches - in WWE history was the insane bout between Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle at the 2001 King of the Ring. The two squared off in a beautifully violent match that saw Shane McMahon land on the concrete head-first after the glass Angle was trying to suplex him through didn't break. It was a sick bump that looked like it killed him, so of course Kurt snatched him up and repeated the spot, this time tossing him hard enough to ensure the glass shattered. Vince's son has a long history of killing himself for our enjoyment, including some insane spots in matches against Test and Steve Blackman, of all people. Think about that for a second...Shane McMahon, son of the multi-millionaire owner of the company, went out and sacrificed his body in an attempt to get STEVE BLACKMAN over. That's dedication, folks. He also took Rob Van Dam's Van Terminator and was the first one to use it on WWE TV, completely diluting the impact when RVD finally came along. "If the rich, non-wrestler can do it, it can't be that big of a deal." If you had told me we were getting Shane vs. Taker inside the Cell in 2001 I would have absolutely lost my sh*t, knowing that Shane undoubtedly would have attempted suicide to make sure the match was a spectacle. But here's the problem...
