2. Many Wrestlers Are Being Overlooked

Facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania is a huge honor; one of the biggest in the industry. In fact, it's probably a bigger deal since it only happens once a year and apparently Taker handpicks his opponents. The chance to have your name on the marquee opposite The Phenom means the company has a lot of faith in you as a performer. That being said, what does it say about the WWE roster - depleted by injury though it may be - that Vince looked up and down his list of wrestlers and decided that not a single one of them was worthy of the spot, instead coaxing his son to come back and get the opportunity? Many of them are probably insulted, but will surely keep their disappointment to themselves for fear of seeing the careers end up along the trajectory of Tyler Breeze or Titus O'Neil. Certainly Kevin Owens - who openly campaigned for the shot - would have been an ideal foil for The Undertaker. Or what about AJ Styles? The Phenom vs. The Phenomenal One. Finn Balor would have made sense as well. There's several guys who could have been slotted into that position and possibly used it to make their careers. Instead we got Shane McMahon. But on the bright side...
