Shane McMahon's 9 Most Death-Defying WWE Stunts

3. Suplexed Through The Glass Again And Again - King Of The Ring 2001

Shane McMahon is not just an adrenaline junkie. He is also, unquestionably, one tough son of a bitch. I know we all remember the sequence of events that happened with the panes of glass, but let's just take a stroll down memory lane for fun. Kurt Angle attempts to suplex Shane McMahon through the first pane of glass. It doesn't break, causing Shane to land right on his head.
The ref checks on him. Angle then picks him up and does it again, and this time that first pane breaks. But rather than ending the match and immediately going to ice his back/head/shoulders/knees/toes, Angle picks him up and tries to suplex him through the second sheet of glass. Once again, it doesn't break, and Shane lands on all the worst body parts. The ref checks on them to ask if he's dead yet. They get up and do it again. It still doesn't break and now Shane's spine is one shaky Jenga piece away from being completely ruined. "Maybe...just maybe...we should go back to the ring now before the cops show up to investigate a live murder" says absolutely no one as Angle grabs Shane by the neck and straight up chucks him through the second pane of glass the ol' fashioned way. Kurt Angle actually has to wheel Shane back to the ring to pin him, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was legitimate improvisation because Shane was now officially a human slinky. Also, did anyone else notice there was a third pane of glass hanging up there? Who wants to bet the original plan was to suplex Shane through all three of them?
