Shawn Michaels' 10 Best Matches Ever
8. Vs. Razor Ramon (SummerSlam 1995)
Michaels and Razor managed quite the Houdini act. The two found out about two weeks before SummerSlam that they were forbidden from using the ladders as weapons, due to a strict anti-violence code in place at the time. How were they going to top their WrestleMania 10 all-timer if they were going to be shackled and cuffed like that?
They came damn close, pulling off a bonafide classic, even with the constraints. Their fellow Kliqsters helped them come up with ideas the night before, with a young Triple H reminding them that throwing each other into the ladders was okay, since it was like flinging an opponent into the corner buckles.
The only real weapon-ish spot was Razor dropping the ladder onto Michaels' outstretched leg, which may have been pushing it. Despite the hindrances, Michaels and Ramon equaled the drama of the original, and managed to be creative in spite of their circumstances. "The Showstopper" doesn't lay down for the needlessly-squeamish.
