Bron Breakker is once again the NXT Champion after defeating Dolph Ziggler in a title rematch on WWE Raw Monday night. The match itself was a runback of Saturday's NXT Stand and Deliver bout, which Dolph won to retain his title.

The victory ends Ziggler's epic run as NXT 2.0 kingpin at 28 days, with Breakker regaining the title he first won at New Year's Evil before losing it at NXT Roadblock last month. The match itself was a decent showcase for the son of newly minted WWE Hall-of-Famer Rick Steiner, as Breakker displayed his athleticism and power, including a somersault plancha onto Robert Roode.

Breakker is one of the brightest stars in the rebooted NXT 2.0, someone the company clearly is very high on. There were reports that WWE might have considered calling Bron up to the main roster despite barely having 20 professional wrestling matches to his name, and the fact he lost his NXT title match at Stand and Deliver on Saturday lent credence to that theory.

But Monday's title win seems to indicate that Breakker will remain in NXT for the time being as its standard-bearer. He'll probably get some more crossover opportunities on Raw as WWE clearly seems intent on promoting their Tuesday show as often as possible (shame they wouldn't do that when Triple H was running the show).
