In what should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone, World Wrestling Entertainment has announced that Stephanie McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer of the company and daughter of the Chairman of the Board, is to publish her memoirs.

A press release put out yesterday by the company breaks down what one can expect from the book, promising an in-depth look at the history of WWE as well as its 'remarkably contemporary' approach to media.

The various successes and failures of Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley will also be revealed, although I dare say more of the former than the latter.

Judith Regan, CEO of Regan Arts, had a whole host of gushing words to say about her newest writer, referring to Stephanie as one of the 'great visionaries behind the continuing success of WWE', as well as referring to her story as 'Shakespearean'. Judith finishes her hype by saying 'I love her, and you will too when you read her book'.

One can only assume that Judith Regan is not a weekly watcher of World Wrestling Entertainment's product. As this is obviously a WWE-endorsed product I wouldn't expect too many skeletons to come bounding out of the closet, but it should be a fascinating read nonetheless.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
