Stephanie McMahon’s 10 Most Memorable WWE Matches

10. Stephanie And Zack Gowen vs. Big Show - SmackDown; July 3, 2003

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1hmpse_best-of-smackdown-big-show-vs-stephanie-mcmahon-zack-gowen-m25_sport The summer of 2003 saw a Stephanie McMahon stronger and more independent than she had ever been during her time as an on-air character. She no longer hid behind daddy, nor did she have to associate herself with a male Superstar in order to accomplish her goals. She was a the SmackDown General Manager and engaged in a heated dispute with her father Vince over the direction of the brand. One of the courageous young stars Vince took great pride in tormenting was one-legged competitor Zack Gowen. In order for the life-long fan and cancer survivor to earn a WWE contract, he and Stephanie would have to team up to take on the World's Largest Athlete, and pissed off giant, The Big Show. The mismatched babyfaces found themselves tossed around the ring and punished by the big man but both refused to quit. Just as things looked bleakest for our heroes, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle hit the ring, laying the Big Show out and watching as Gowen executed an improbable moonsault to win the match and a contract with SmackDown. It was a triumphant moment for the youngster and one of the few examples of Stephanie doing what was right rather than what was in her own best interests.
