5. Feud With Seth Rollins
WWE.comIt was back on the June 2 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw that Seth Rollins shocked the world by betraying his fellow Shield brethren Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The moment came to the surprise of fans and to the approval of Triple H, the mastermind behind the plot to destroy the faction that had opposed him for several months. Since that time, Seth has been a constant presence at Hunter's side. He is being called the future, the man that will one day lead the company forward. He is being praised for his ring work and his new direction that could very well lead to the WWE World Championship. But for every young star on his way up, there must be a learning curve. Could Sting be part of that curve? The idea of a feud between Sting and Seth may be out of the realm of possibility right now due to Dean's pursuit of his former Shield teammate but the fact is that eventually it could happen. Seth is in a prime spot in the company, in a red hot storyline and is directly connected to the top heel faction in The Authority. He has all the tools necessary to succeed as a top antagonist and all he needs is the right competition to help get him to that point. This would be the interesting part of Seth's evolution to the next level. Just how committed is WWE to his career as a future main event star? Is all of that just lip service, done for the sake of getting him over as the newest heel threat or is there some truth behind that angle? Because if Seth is meant for great things, then he could find himself in the ring with a legend. A program between he and Sting would not have to last long and could actually be kept to just a few physical confrontations leading up to one match at some point. But for Seth, the experience would be invaluable. He would get the rub from Sting and could find himself propelled up the ladder faster than anyone even thought possible. Sting was helped along the way by Ric Flair and he could now return the favor to Seth Rollins.
