Sting vs The Undertaker: 10 Angles WWE Must Play Out

5. A Rematch, A Win, And An Answer

Reeling from an unfair loss, Sting sets about on getting revenge on The Wyatt Family. As Luke and Erick pursue the tag titles, Sting interferes and delivers a few baseball bat shots to the pair of them, both to destroy their championship quest AND send a message to Bray Wyatt; "I am not someone you should be trying to mess with". Of course, messing with people is what Bray Wyatt does best, so the resulting month or so of back and forth action gets Sting into a place of doubt; should he really be fighting this fight? All is answered at Hell in a Cell, and I mean it when I say 'all'. Sting and Wyatt fight inside the huge steel structure to a point of absurdity, with the newcomer taking it to the veteran. As Harper and Rowan manage to break into the cell, suddenly the lights go down. Moments come, moments go. The lights come back up. The Undertaker is stood in the center of the ring, as Sting lays in a crumpled heap on the floor, and the Wyatts all look on. One by one, Undertaker knocks them down, picks them up, and then knocks them back down again. As Undertaker takes Harper and Rowan to the outside, Sting gets Bray in the Scorpion Death Lock, and picks up the win by submission. As Sting celebrates, he locks eyes with The Deadman. The cage lifts, and the pair end up in the center of the ring together, face to face for the first time. The pair stand motionless for what feels like an eternity, locked in a staring contest to end all staring contests. Finally, The Undertaker rolls his eyes into the back of his head, and gestures his hand across his neck, and his music starts to play. The lights go down as the entire WWE Universe sees that Undertaker has accepted Sting's challenge.
