Sting To WWE: 10 Ways To Book His Debut Now Undertaker Has Gone

1. Sting Vs Triple H

Sting vs Triple H could be way more likely than given credit for. Triple H has a huge fondness for old school wrestling and in particular for the work of Ric Flair in the late 80's. Who was one of Flair's key opponents in this period? Sting. Given his fandom, it wouldn't be totally surprising to see Hunter book himself in a feud with Sting based off of his respect for the era he came from. The fact Triple H has negotiated so many recent WWE deals and perhaps had a hand in the Sting deal is another reason to believe he will make himself the man to get the match. Sting may have ended up being directly sold on Triple H. Hunter also makes sense as an opponent as he's a part time worker himself. He can function in a way where he can take a loss without taking any loss of momentum like a full timer would. Likewise, he is the kind of reliable talent who can deliver great promos and in-ring wrestling. He can make a Sting match compelling. Perhaps we see it go down whereby Sting is indeed brought in with a GM role. Over time this starts to grate with Triple H in his Authority role, necessitating a fight between the pair. Starting around SummerSlam (like the Hunter / Bryan feud did) it would all culminate in an exciting WrestleMania 31 fourth main event. Whatever WWE do with Sting, it may not be as hot as The Undertaker would have been, but this list proves there's still plenty the Icon can achieve in his WWE debut.
