Sting To WWE: 10 Ways To Book His Debut Now Undertaker Has Gone

2. Randy Orton Vs Sting

The creative dynamics for this one are arguably the most logical. Sting debuts in a babyface interview with Jerry Lawler in the ring. As the segment finishes up, Lawler says "Thank you Sting, you truly are a legend." Cue Randy Orton's music. The reaction would be mega, one of those "oh my, here we go" moments. Coming to the ring with a beaming smile, Orton would take the microphone from Lawler. "Hi legend, I just wanted to come down here to introduce who I am ... Randy Orton ... legend killer." Randy would then hit the inevitable RKO, establishing the feud which they could take into WrestleMania 31. The contest could even be done sooner than that, maybe it would be best executed around SummerSlam. When you think about it, Orton needs something like this feud sooner rather than later. The 34 year old has struggled for relevancy as WWE Champion, he looks to continue with some main event momentum for now with the Authority, but beyond that he needs a serious career injection. Reverting back to the legend killer gimmick and a war with Sting could give Randy that impetus he needs, the nostalgia for Evolution is coming back, is the world ready for the legend killer too? Sting is a perfect opportunity for Orton.
