Tessa Blanchard Facing MORE Controversy After New Bullying Allegations
Allysin Kay alleges the Impact Champion is digging up dirt on her, and more.
Tessa Blanchard's name just won't stay out of the headlines at the moment, and while the Impact Wrestling World Champion may have hoped things would die down after denying racism accusations last week, fresh controversy emerged over the weekend.
Allysin Kay, the current NWA Women's Champion, used Twitter to accuse Blanchard of trying to exact revenge on her by digging up dirt, including a couple of screenshots as evidence:-
It was Kay who first came public with the racism allegations, prompting others to come forth ahead of Impact's Hard to Kill pay-per-view (12 January). A terrible look for Tessa, here, and one that suggests she has learned nothing from the situation.
On top of this, a new report from Fightful highlights a few worrying stories from Tessa's time in the Women of Wrestling promotion. One source (who requested anonymity out of fear of reprisal) claimed Blanchard would regularly "have it out with WOW trainers, telling one she shouldn't be teaching and didn't belong there," reducing said trainer to tears in front of a group.
When asked about the situation, Tessa refused to talk.
Another incident saw Blanchard involved in a verbal spat with another of WOW's top names. She also got into it with Malia Hosaka, with her opposite number the only person reprimanded, and a number of tenured roster members also felt their pushes were wavering as Tessa grew in power within the group.
