1. The Divas Revolution
It's no secret that WWE hasn't really respected its women wrestlers for some time now. They're reality TV commodities who get more time on a scripted E! show than in the ring. In NXT, it's a completely different story. The Divas Revolution, a term that is growing increasingly despicable among wrestling fans, started completely organically during NXT in 2014. Talents like Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Bayley, and Sasha Banks picked up where women like Paige and Emma left off when they were both called up to WWE. Even signing the Four Horsewomen to the main roster hasn't done much to change the stale and boring Divas' division. That won't happen until backstage attitudes about women's wrestling catch up with the times. In NXT, the women are main-eventing live specials, but in WWE, they're fighting over a "revolution" that's become more of a buzzword than anything meaningful. Let's be real. Nothing's changed. The matches aren't much longer, they're not more frequent, and they're not higher up on the card. There's just more talented women, but even that doesn't matter when WWE wants us to believe that Nikki Bella started the Divas Revolution.
