While a successful tag team is all about thinking alike, working cohesively, and being selfless, some of the most interesting duos are two men pushed together in the aftermath of a vicious feud. That explosiveness adds excitement to every match, since you never know when these two volatile stars will push the other to their breaking point. Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage were one such team. After battling for supremacy in the early days of WWE time and again, they put their differences aside to form the Mega Powers. Their disdain for each other eventually spilled over and led to their demise in 1989, although they'd get back together in WCW for a while. They also reunited in 2014. But wait. You're probably asking how? After all, Savage passed away in 2011. It wasn't the real Macho Man and Hulkster at all, but rather a listless Damien Sandow and an even more lost Curtis Axel. The men played Savage and Hogan respectively. The teamsurprise, surprisenever amounted to much of anything, and when the real Hogan got fired from WWE this year after his racist remarks leaked, the new Mega Powers disappeared without a trace. Neither man has been spotted on major WWE TV since, although there are rumors that Sandow may return to his holier than thou gimmick.
