After Paul Bearer's untimely death in 2013, WWE decided to pay the ultimate respect to the legendary manager by having his memory play a role in The Undertaker's WrestleMania match that year. They wasted no time in making this happen, as the episode of Raw that followed Bearer's death featured 'Taker's opponent, CM Punk, disrespecting his memory. This would ultimately incite the wrath of Kane - who ended up facing Punk in the main event.

With a little help from The Undertaker, Kane defeated Punk. 'The Phenom' then entered the arena and, against the backdrop of a tribute graphic for Bearer, he got down on one knee for his iconic salute. The salute was reciprocated by Kane from the ring, who was also on one knee - paying tribute to his fallen "father".

Given how much Bearer loved the industry, it's highly likely that he would have loved this moment. It was a beautifully touching tribute from the two men who may not be the stars they are today without his help, and it was done in a way that only the Brothers of Destruction could have pulled off.
