The Brothers Of Destruction’s 10 Best WWE Moments
5. The Undertaker & Kane’s Night Of Destruction - Raw (5 September 1998)
In 1998, Vince McMahon had a plan: unite The Undertaker and Kane and get them to rid WWE of Stone Cold Steve Austin. The two feuding brothers had just started working together and the Chairman decided to motivate them a little more - calling them a pair of "putrid p*ssies". Needless to say, this ignited a rage within the two monsters who stormed down the ramp and chased McMahon into the audience. However, this was only the beginning...
Throughout the night, Kane and The Undertaker unleashed a fury on Monday Night Raw that had never been seen before, as they interfered in multiple matches and took out every WWE superstar in sight. It didn't matter if you were Steve Blackman, Vader or even The Rock because once they left the arena, bodies were strewn everywhere.
It was a thrilling night of destruction that highlighted just how dominant this unholy alliance was, and its notable for being the first of their many rampaging displays. Though they wouldn't officially adopt the moniker for another three years, this was also the first time that Jim Ross referred to them as "two brothers of destruction" - and how right he was.
