The Brothers Of Destruction’s 10 Best WWE Moments
6. The Brothers Of Destruction Make Things Official - SmackDown (25 January 2001)
After spending much of 2000 as a heel, Kane began teasing a face turn when he and 'Taker suddenly started coming to each other's aid. It was an intriguing well-paced angle that kept us all guessing, and wondering if the two recent rivals were finally ready to make amends.
We all got the answer we were waiting for when Kane (fresh off his amazing performance in the 2001 Royal Rumble) showed up to help his brother yet again, as the two fended off Rikishi and Haku. Afterwards, Undertaker did his usual American Badass pose for the crowd before he stopped, sensing his demonic brother's gaze. He then grabbed Kane's arm and raised it too, and the two men - united as a team - summoned Kane's fiery pyros. In that moment, there was no more ambiguity - The Undertaker and Kane had reunited.
Though they had teamed together many times in 1998 and 2000, this moment was notable for kick-starting their first real run as a tag team, where they officially adopted the moniker Brothers of Destruction.
