2. Ricky Steamboat
Everyone loves Steamboat and he is without a doubt one of the greatest of all time. He was a great performer during his time and was always a fan favorite. He held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship briefly in 1989 but was just never really used in the right way during his time in WWE/WWF. He had what many consider the best match of all time with Randy Savage at Wrestlemania III for the Intercontinental belt but for whatever reason never faced Hogan for the World Championship (Im thinking it was most likely due to the fact that Hulk knew a match between the two would make him look bad so he went to Vince and begged him not to ever book it). Other than having a short and disappointing Intercontinental reign Steamboat really didnt do anything else that important during his stay with the company, so it is no wonder he jumped ship to NWA/WCW as soon as the opportunity presented itself where he was much more successful.
