The Deceased Dozen Of The 1990 Royal Rumble

9. Mr Perfect (28 March 1958 – 10 February 2003)

Ultimate Warrior Rumble 90
WWE

Alongside Rick Rude, Mr Perfect is the second on this list to make the final four of the showpiece battle royal, even claiming the runner-up spot before being comfortably disposed by Hulk Hogan.

However, if rumours are to be believed, he was actually supposed to go one step further and win the whole thing before some political manoeuvring from 'The Hulkster' saw a late change in plans.

Entering at #30 (the 'Perfect' number), Perfect brought his immaculate win-loss record to the Royal Rumble, having recently made waves on television in a pulsating angle that saw Hennig smash up 'The Hulkster's Title belt with a hammer after causing him to lose via countout to The Genius on Saturday Night's Main Event.

The programme between the two had disappointed in sales at house shows, and with Hogan destined for The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI, this brief skirmish would mark their only pay-per-view conflict.
