The Deceased Dozen Of The 1990 Royal Rumble

6. Bad News Brown (22 October 1943 – 6 March 2007)

Ultimate Warrior Rumble 90
WWE

It was a relatively short night for the Harlem hardnut, but Bad News Brown was no less integral to one of the key plot points coming away from the Rumble itself.

Entering at #9, Brown was ousted just six minutes later by 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, but took immediate revenge by reaching over the top rope and pulling the 'Hot Scot' headfirst to the arena floor.

Piper took this slight as expected, taking a second to gather himself before leaping back on the attack, dragging Brown around ringside until the two were entrenched in a brawl halfway down the aisle.

Everything about the scuffle including the sly elimination that triggered it was perfectly suited to the two street fighters, and crafted the ideal start to their WrestleMania-bound conflict.
