The Defining WWE Moment Of Every Year This Decade

As this year draws to a close, there are numerous viable options for the most defining moment of 2019. However, the first Women's main event of WrestleMania is a moment that will be regarded as a key event in the Women's Revolution and demonstrated that female superstars are on an equal level to the male superstars in professional wrestling. 'Becky Two Belts' planting herself firmly at the top of the mountain is undeniably the biggest event of the year - and one of the biggest in the history of the business.

This was an example of excellent long-term booking by WWE, as Lynch's rise to superstardom began all the way back at SummerSlam 2018. 'The Man' brought about a crowd reaction that no female superstar had done before, with fans wanting to see her wipe out every competitor that stood in her way - even though she was initially meant to be a heel.

This story led to a women's triple threat match for both of the main championships in the women's division, which was a fantastic demonstration of how far the 'Women's Revolution' had come from its beginning in 2015. The three brought the house down in New Jersey and showcased the formidable talent that the modern women's roster possesses.

Across the last ten years in WWE, there have been turns, surprises, and moments that have reminded the WWE Universe exactly why we became fans. Hopefully, the next ten years are as memorable as the last and these moments serve as a reminder of WWE's motto: "Then. Now. Forever."
