In November 2018, Ronda Rousey was cooking up a storm on the front lines of women's wrestling, drawing more eyes to the product from the mainstream media and demonstrating a rapid adjustment to professional wrestling from MMA. During the build to Survivor Series of that year, the scheduled match was Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey for the Women's Championship and Lynch was beginning to pick up a head of steam.

During a SmackDown invasion of Monday Night Raw, Lynch led the fight for Team Blue and ambushed the Raw Women's division to drive one point home: SmackDown was not to be overlooked. Unfortunately, during the climax of the show, a stray fist from Nia Jax caught the 'Lasskicker' in the face and broke her nose, forcing her out of her title opportunity.

On the other hand, this pushed Becky Lynch to the moon. The crowd support for Lynch was monumental and when she eventually returned to the ring, sporting a brand new "I Am The Man" t-shirt, fans across the world gathered to showcase how popular a performer she truly was.

As this article is being written in December 2019, 'The Man' is still alive and well as Becky Lynch continues to main event WWE shows and out-perform herself time and time again.
