From the 'Best' to the 'Beast'.

The night after WrestleMania XXVIII, John Cena emerged looking for his opponent from the Show of Shows, The Rock. When Cena requested that he come to the ring and accept his congratulations, there was no response from 'The Great One'. Instead, the 'Next Big Thing' blared over the speakers and the Miami crowd came unglued.

WWE fans hadn't seen Brock Lesnar since he left the company the night after WrestleMania XX, in 2004, but this night proved that the WWE Universe had certainly not forgotten about 'The Beast Incarnate'. As he laid waste to John Cena in the middle of the ring, everyone in attendance and the millions watching on their television screens knew that the entire landscape of WWE would never be the same again. Seven years on, Lesnar continues to run through almost all of his opponents, still proving that he is a force to be reckoned with.
