Could Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks be about to reunite?

With AEW Full Gear on the imminent horizon this weekend, could the Elite be set for a reunion? Maybe...

When asked during a recent Fightful Select Answers Q&A about the chances of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks reuniting, Sean Ross Sapp thinks it's certainly possible. SRS noted that, with Omega's health struggles, it's impressive that the former AEW World Champion is able to remain in the shape that he does, and that he'll still be wrestling "here and there." Sapp also noted how the downward spiral of the Young Bucks will likely be the catalyst for a babyface turn from Matt and Nick Jackson, particularly with how the AEW roster is stacked with heels right now, including the Death Riders, the Don Callis Family, the Opps, and whenever MJF returns.

At Full Gear this Saturday, Kenny Omega teams with Jurassic Express to take on the Young Bucks and Josh Alexander, with the winning team taking home a whopping $1 million. Recent weeks have seen Don Callis implore the Jacksons to join his Callis Family, though we've yet to get a concrete answer from Matt and Nick.

Playing off this, last night's Dynamite saw the Bucks and Alexander pick up a win over Sky Flight, with the Walking Weapon tapping out Dante Martin for the win. Post-match, Kenny Omega came out and was put in an ankle lock by Alexander, as Don Callis told the Young Bucks to hit Kenny with the BTE Trigger. Before that could happen, Jack Perry and Luchasaurus came out to make the save, meaning Matt and Nick didn't have time to make their decision on whether to attack Omega or not.
