The Good, The Bad And The Ugly: Wrestling's 6 Most Memorable Stables

3. The New World Order

The Four Horsemen may be the old school fans faction of choice but there's no denying that the original New World Order were the most influential group of the last 20 years. Presented as a group of outsiders working for 'the competition' attempting a hostile takeover of WCW, the NWO consisted of WWE mainstays Diesel/Kevin Nash and Razor Ramon/Scott Hall and mega-face Hulk Hogan - who was struggling to stay over with his standard All American Hero gimmick from the 1980's. For weeks they would show up on live Nitro broadcasts proclaiming "We're taking over' before attacking various superstars on the roster. As the story moved along fans began to question everybody's loyalties on the WCW roster - wrestlers, referees and commentators alike - because if the biggest name in the company could turn heel then so could anybody else! We don't need to tell you how watered down the gimmick eventually became over the years, and it's safe to say that even reuniting the original 3 members in the WWE was not enough to prevent it from dying a death long past it's sell by date. But even with that in mind there isn't a fan out there that can say they weren't glued to their seats and tempted over to the dark side during those exciting Monday Night Wars. Most Notable Members: Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Eric Bischoff, Good, Bad or Ugly? Very, very good
