The Good, The Bad And The Ugly: Wrestling's 6 Most Memorable Stables

6. Immortal

The build up for Immortal was pretty exciting stuff for TNA, but the pay off on the other hand was a massive let down. After hiring Hulk Hogan to help boost ratings the company soon realised that baby face Hulkster was about as over as possibly imaginable and thus decided they'd turn him heel and have him lead a group of wrestlers intent on destroying TNA and everything Dixie Carter had worked 'so hard' to establish. Then someone decided to merge Immortal with Ric Flair's Horsemen knock off 'Fortune' to make them into a super group that just weren't that super. Perhaps the biggest fail when it came to Immortal though was turning one of the most over men in the industry heel to be their hand picked World Champion. That man was Jeff Hardy and let's face it, although he showed early Raven like promise, his heel turn was a huge let down and he's never quite been the same since. The stable was mercifully short lived and ended with Hulk turning on his evil best buddy Eric Bischoff. It's almost a shame that WWE signed Booker T and Kevin Nash before TNA could reform the Main Event Mafia for what could have been a pretty entertaining feud. Well, at least for 5 minutes. Fortunately though we can still see Immortal leader Hogan feud with Main Event Mafia enforcer Scott Steiner in a court of law, and if you close your eyes you can imagine them hitting one another with chairs instead of hitting each other with lawsuits. Most Notable Members: Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair, Abyss, Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Beer Money Inc. Good, Bad or Ugly?: Before the Hogan reveal this was quite good, but then Hogan turned heel and it became bad, and by the end of the angle it was very, very ugly. http://youtu.be/-sNm69ZGRC0 So there you have it. Just a few of the best and worst factions from recent memory. Of course there were others and we're sure you'll be more than happy to have your say in the comments section below.
