The Greatest Match From Every WWE SummerSlam Ever

Truth in advertising from WWE: they promised us a chaotic battle of the big men, and delivered precisely what we wanted. There’s nothing flashy or complicated about this bout, just four of the company’s most fearsome and imposing figures tearing chunks off one another in a ridiculously fun, non stop 20 minute sprint.

There are bruising spots galore in this match. Strowman power slams Brock through a table, then does it again. Reigns spears Brock through the barricade, Joe stretches him out with one nasty submission hold after another - in general, everyone takes turns pounding on the dominant beast, whose Universal Championship and WWE career are on the line.

There’s no keeping Lesnar down, though. He’s stretchered out, ushering a mad scramble between the other three brutes, but returns for an all action finish, finally putting Reigns away with an F5 to retain.

Aside from the retirement stipulation, it really felt like anyone could win this one. A vulgar display of power from WWE that left all four big lads looking fantastic, but probably feeling awfully sore.
