3. The Streamers Thing
If you want to experience "the streamers thing", there are two places to go: Japan or Ring of Honor.
Although Cody competed at Wrestle Kingdom and several other New Japan events, it was ROH that offered the long-awaited streamers moment -- and the highest profile title win to date for Cody -- when he defeated Christopher Daniels for the ROH World Title.
Now the top man in ROH, Cody has big shoes to fill, but the future is looking bright. And, in hindsight, "the streamers thing" is a very mellow way to refer to one's first world title win.
The son of Dusty Rhodes won World Title gold 31 years after his father did, becoming only the second father-son duo in history to win major World Title gold in the United States, after Fritz and Kerry Von Erich.
