Throughout the majority of his top level career, Jericho has never been one to shy away from his extra-curricular activities. Make no mistake about it, Jericho is more successful in musical endeavours outside of the ring than arguably any other superstar, with his band Fozzy winning awards and putting together one heck of a discography.

Rock and roll has as such played its part in the various personas we've seen from Jericho, and never was this more apparent than towards the end of his run in 2005. Jericho turned heel in the summer and started feuding with the newly-crowned WWE Champion John Cena. Arrogance and pomposity were the new black, and Jericho the Rock Star became intertwined with Jericho the Wrestler.

The two became one on an episode of RAW that year, as Jericho and Cena took on each other in what was billed as a Battle of the Bands. The full on rock star version of Jericho in WWE didn't get much of a chance to flourish, as the feud with Cena was his goodbye (for now) with the company, but it was fun whilst it lasted.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
