WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that NXT's Oba Femi is set for "big things" once he leaps to WWE's main roster. That hop is imminent too - Oba "is currently expected" to make his mark on flagship brand Raw during the wildly thrilling Royal Rumble-WrestleMania 42 period.

What's more, this WrestleVotes/Fightful write up states that Femi will be positioned "near the top of the card" on Mondays, which would be a colossal show of faith in his skills from Triple H and the creative team. Everyone has been impressed by Oba's work on developmental show NXT though, and now there's a great chance he'll be built as a future pillar of the company's onscreen product in 2026 and beyond.

That isn't all: Femi is set to make a splash at 'Mania 42. He'll be "featured prominently" on April's weekender.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has noted that Oba relinquished the NXT Title recently because "those controlling his creative on the main roster didn't want him taking another loss". That tracks. This probably isn't something Shawn Michaels and other NXT bosses want to do too often, but protecting Femi by having him vacate the belt rather than dropping it does keep him strong ahead of this main roster gig.

Oba beat the dynamic Leon Slater at NXT's New Year's Evil show on 6 January. Now, he'll presumably kiss the brand goodbye and start preparing himself for life on Raw. This must be an incredibly exciting time for Femi. WWE fans who don't watch a ton of NXT are in for a treat when they see him.
