The REAL Reason The Revival Just Won WWE Raw Tag Team Titles

Vince McMahon doesn't watch half of his own output, let alone whatever The Young Bucks are up to on YouTube, but had he heard Matt and Nick Jackson's wink-and-nudge catchphrase against the other best tag team in the world, he'd probably have taken it as an instruction.

As was, fate totally took the p*ss before he could. Dash Wilder fractured his jaw just 11 days after their debut, and within weeks of their July return, Scott Dawson ruptured his bicep. They weren't fighting fit together until December, but there was to be no Christmas miracle even when they were back making towns. They were only permitted wins over Heath Slater and Rhyno. They were buried hard by The Bálor Club and D-Generation-X on the catastrophic Raw 25. They were confined to the pre-show of the Royal Rumble. New year, same old Vince.

2018 was a year in virtual stasis for the pair. Yet more television and pre-show defeats to worthless punchline Champions The B-Team left a sour taste in the mouth over the summer before a winter of discontent against The Lucha House Party was finally put on ice by the removal of storyline authority goober Baron Corbin. Following a story originally broken by Fightful, The Wrestling Observer reported that an LHP match-too-many resulted in them asking for their releases whilst still in their gear at the January 14th Raw.

When The Wyatt Family hit rock bottom in 2016, it was at least at the Hollywood hands of the 'Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment', and on a WrestleMania no less. This NXT-to-main roster catastrophe was entirely down to the most insane one, and nobody even got to see it.
