The Rock's 10 WWE World Championship Reigns Ranked From Worst To Best
8. WCW Championship (8th) 5 November 2001 - 9 December 2001
After losing the WCW Championship to Chris Jericho at No Mercy 2001, The Rock eventually won it back by defeating Y2J on the 5 November 2001 episode of RAW. A few weeks later, he helped Team WWF defeat The Alliance at Survivor Series by last eliminating ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, the then-WWE Champion.
After this, it was decided the WCW World Championship would be retired after Vengeance and the winner of a mini-tournament featuring Rock, Austin, Chris Jericho, and Kurt Angle would become the first WWE Undisputed Champion. What this meant was that 'The Great One' had a title that didn’t matter, hence the low place on the list.
At December’s Vengeance, The Rock didn’t even make it to the Undisputed Championship match, since he lost his WCW World Championship to Chris Jericho – who went to defeat Steve Austin in the finals and become the first WWE Undisputed Champion.
