The Street Profits Heading For WWE Reset (WWE News)

Just where are Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins? They've been off WWE TV since October 2025.

WWE tag-team The Street Profits have been absent from programming since October 2025. Now, as reported by Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of his Wrestling Observer Newsletter, we know why.

It turns out that neither Montez Ford nor Angelo Dawkins are rehabbing an injury. The duo have simply been kept off TV to "freshen [them] up". It's unclear whether or not this means The Profits will be repackaged upon their return, or if Triple H and other members of WWE's creative squad believe they were overdue a breather so fans miss them.

Ford and Dawkins had been a key part of the SmackDown tag division revival throughout 2024 and 2025, but they were replaced as divisional focal points by The Wyatt Sicks last year. In fact, the pair's last match on SmackDown was an unsuccessful tag title challenge to Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis.

That fell on the 10 October episode of SmackDown over in Perth, Australia. Afterwards, The Profits worked one more bout vs. Berto and Angel on the 1 November episode of Main Event (taped on 24 October) before vanishing from screens.

Some fans had wondered if either man was carrying an injury, but it appears that isn't the case. Meltzer's write up makes it clear that WWE wanted to give The Street Profits a rest and concentrate on other acts in the tag division. Think of this as a mental reset, both for Ford and Dawkins as well as the fanbase.

Hopefully, The Profits get a monster reaction when they resurface.
